Why am I losing weight without dieting or exercising?

July 26th, 2010 | by Diet Advisor |
Amanda asked:

I’ve been consistently losing weight since the beginning of the year. I started dieting in January and I gave up shortly afterwards, but I’ve continued to lose weight. I’m not exercising very often (I occasionally go on hikes) and I would label my eating habits as unhealthy. Should I just enjoy this miracle or should I be concerned that something’s medically wrong with me?

You may have Celiac Disease. Basically, an allergy to a component of wheat. When my brother got that he lost quite a bit of weight. The same thing is happening to me now, but I don’t know whether or not im celiac.

My cousin has been taking the Acai Berry for a few months and she has dropped over 40 lbs. It’s amazing how well a fruit from the Amazon can work as a weight loss supplement.
