Is it possible to lose a good amount of weight without dieting?

I am trying to lose weight. So far I have cut sodas and the uses of plenty salt out. Now I am drinking nothing but water, lemonade, or crystal light. I always drain the grease out of food. I want to no if I will be able to lose the weight still.

You lose weight by burning more calories than you take in. Just make sure that you exercise to burn off the extra calories.

to lose weight, you have to both eat healthy and exercise too. You should exercise at least 30 minutes a day and for a healthy day plan, check mypryamid.gov for information. the site can help you organize a plan just for you based on your info. also, watch out for saturated fats and trans fat because those are really bad for you body.

If you are eating anything with grease in it, it can’t really be good for you… I would cut that out because the grease is basically fat.
Watch your portions and you will be fine! Stick to serving sizes.
Good choice on cutting out sodas! Cut out anything that’s fried and try avoiding late night snacks and things such as chips!
Also a little exercise would help!

You need to burn more calories than you take in to lose weight. Draining the grease our of food is not going to help that much. You need to cut your portion sizes and eat a healthy snack betwee meals and watch your calories.

The key to losing weight is diet (not starving yourself) and exercise. When i say diet I mean eating healthier. Make small changes to your diet like eating low carb, low fat and low calorie alternatives. Instead of whole milk, use skim. Instead of eggs eat egg whites. Eat turkey instead of red meat or pork. Just shave off some of the excess calories. You don’t have to diet to lose weight. Just eat healthy, balanced meals and burn some calories through cardio and you’ll be fine. The stricter you are, the faster the weight drops.

Burn calories by exercising! Going for walks can burn calories and it’s relaxing! Doing pushups/situps can also burn calories and help loose any tummy you might have. Even standing can burn some calories.

Yes. The key to losing weight is exercise. If you burn more calories than you take in, your body will start burning fat since it has nothing else to run on. If you’re in relatively good shape, but just want to lose a few pounds, then this should be easy. even if you just go run for twenty minutes a day or do some other form of cardio (kick-boxing, riding a bike, using the elliptical machine at a gym, doing a fitness tape, etc.) If you want to get defined abs or w/e then i would suggest going to the gym and doing some weight training or finding a good fitness tape to use. If you’re really heavy, then all of these things will still work for you, but it will probably be much harder. Also if you don’t really diet, but just make better choices about what to eat, such as eating something off the veggie tray instead of chips at a party, or eating fruit or veggies a little more often as opposed to cookies or chips when you just want something to munch on. You can still eat chips or cookies or brownies or w/e, but just try to eat them less often. If you usually eat chips once or twice a day and cookies or cake or something once or twice a day as well, try replacing just one or two of these snacks with a healthier choice like yogurt or fruit. I’ve done all of these things recently and i haven’t weighed myself or anything, but i feel like i’ve lost a little weight and i feel healthier too! I really hope this helped!!
