I want to lose weight. Problem is:My mother is very poor, and well very lazy. She buys fast food all the time!!!I don’t want to starve, cause there’s no food in the house otherwise. Is there anything i can do that will help me lose weight in these circumstances?

I can relate to your situation, growing up with a single mom she didn’t have time to cook at home as she was always working. We would always eat fast food.

Nowadays, fast food has changed and they offer many healthy alternatives to deep fried and sugary drinks. Next time order grilled chicken sandwiches without mayo or heavy cheeses/sauces. Order water or tea instead of regular soda or if you must diet is ok. Subway is affordable and a 6 inch turkey sub without dressing on whole wheat bread is only 300 calories (6 inch).

As you may know exercise always helps. Congratulations on taking care of your health at such a young age.

ask mom for your share of the fast food money’ then go to the store and buy your healthy foods or some of them.

also you can ask her to buy salads with meat for you.
