It’s all about will. If there a will, there’s a way - Goku lol
Just do it for someone, that’s usually the biggest trigger.
OH, and try running, that’ll speed up the process. Best of luck!

i’m currently trying to lose weight myself, i had a baby 9 months ago, and i’m STILL dieting. but nothing can motivate you more than yourself! no one else was working with me, all you have to do is remember how good it will feel when you weigh yourself and you see that you’ve lost weight. Losing just even a pound is enough to want to keep going.

When I’m working out or dieting, I just remind myself of the outcome of all of this. And then finally you are rewarded with your new health and appearance! And once you have lost weight, just keep yourself motivated by thinking about yourself gaining back that weight!

The best way for me to keep on my diet is to just keep thinking of the wonderful end result. The result that will make you and your loved ones happy. When you look in the mirror or at your numbers on the scale you will be very happy with what you see. you don’t need to modivate yourself with a treat, but you can if you want. Although like I said the best way is to think of the wonderful end result!! Hope that helps! Happy smiles!

ok this is truely a unique (twisted but unique)idea. Pay someone to slap you everytime you stray. Not getting wacked in the face should be a heck of a motivator.

This is what my aunt did…she bought a couple of expensive outfits that were the size she wanted to be and hung them in her bedroom where she could see them daily. She was DETERMINED like heck to get into them. Try a really **** bathing suit for the summer. Good luck.

1. Picture your finished goal. Any time you pass by chocolate cake, cookies, etc., just mentally remind yourself of your goal.
2. Whenever you wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and tell yourself all of the positive things. If you tell yourself that you’re skinny for a long period of time, you actually lose weight (as long as you don’t stuff your face for 23 hours a day).

stick a ‘fat’ photo on your fridge, or better yet that new **** bikini you want to fit into! should stop you opening the door, for snacks!!

Maybe dieting with a group of friends or people who are doing what you’re doing, that could possible keep you motivated.
I guess most importantly, push yourself with your will power. Tell yourself to diet… or else…
Sorry, I don’t have any other ideas. I think it’s mostly about self control. But, good luck! =D

Think of whY you want to look or feel like when youre done dieting. Keep telling yourself that it’ll all benefit l. It may seem hard by once you get onto the daily routine it’ll he a piece Of cake.

I don’t think I have any new ideas, but what really works for me is tracking my progress and writing my current weight/measurements on a whiteboard stuck on my fridge.
Every time I lose some more weight I get to change the numbers, which is fun(!), and whenever I drift towards the fridge for a snack I see the numbers and that gives me the encouragement to have something healthy cos I want to keep the numbers going down.
I also learned to love soda water and carrots. A lot of my overeating is from boredom and habit and comfort - I like to eat while I read, watch tv etc. Soda water is a lot more interesting than plain water, but also contains zero calories. And carrots are practically guilt free too. If you can find a really low fat snack that you love that can help a LOT as you don’t always feel like you’re sacrificing. I also like to cut oranges in half and freeze them - then eat them with a spoon. They freeze really hard so it takes about 30 minutes to eat half an orange - an excellent healthy snack to have while vegging in front of TV.

Be careful about this American obsession — dieting. One of the best motivations and diets is simply rely less on technologies and more on your own native inner technologies: the body will do the rest if you abide this.
The human body evolved to piece-meal its intake of foods. The manner in which modernity takes in food is wholly contrary to the way the body best ingests and digests foods, which is why so many find themselves faced with difficulty in regulating their respective weights; further, they are far too sedentary; hence the high prevalence of obesity and diabetes and more… These are the result of tampering with what normally can monitor and regulate itself.
If one did nothing more or less, one should always endeavor to walk and stay hydrated as much as precisely possible. Again, nature will do the rest and the body would at once begin leaning and slimming down perfectly naturally without undergoing all the stress, triggering the survival mechanism that is innate, and which evolved as a defense against starvation if too great a pattern of dieting takes hold, in which case the body alerts and undertakes to ‘put on’ weight; this thing of telling the body what to do is not at all good — the body does not need this and has its own native wisdom. Why dietetic and medical authorities do not at first advise that simple advice is rather puzzling.
