Does it take long to see results when dieting and exercising?

I have been dieting for a week, going to curves for two weeks 3 days a week, and bike riding for 30 minutes tues thurs and no results :( has anybody gone through the same thing? Thanks for the responses :) Wow thanks for the responses guys I really appreciate it, its been two weeks and i have lost about a pound but im still motivated. :)

    you wont see significant results within a week..
    give it one or two more weeks and you’ll see a difference.

    Most instructors of exercise and body makeover programs recommend six weeks of diet and exercise to see real results. You may get some weight scale results in a week or two, but actual clothing size and tape measurement changes will be noticeable to you and others at the six week mark.

    Well, if it was you that see ursel , u’ll never see a difference … ever !!!
    but if you want to see if you really gotten any effect see a person that u haven’t seen in a while … trust me !!
    and also normally u get to see the scale’s oppinion after a week or two.
    and an advice from a wieght freak : don’t belive anyone but your scale !!
    and ofcourse always check on your doctor so you wont get sick or any thing !!!
