What is the best diet to follow while working out?

I am about to start back to the gym and wondering what is the best diet to follow while working out. I understand that you can not achieve the results you want just by working out. So, I am going to be doing a combo cardio and free weights three times a week first thing in the mornings. I am looking to of coarse lose body fat and tone and define my body. Sould I drink a protein shake before I workout and after. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My wife has tried most things to lose weight but nothing has worked just as effectively as the wu yi tea that she drinks, it’s been covered on CNN and Fox News. She worked off 5 pounds in three weeks. She buys it from a contact at work but I found this site in Google; - they have a free trial on at the moment, maybe they’re worth a try?

Eat a good diet (lots meat fruits and veggies) and exercise. Drink the protein shake after you work out, if you drink it before it can make you sick to your stomach while working out and from what ive read it doesn’t matter if you drink it before or after. Also try going to a local health store like GNC and see what they recommend for gaining muscle (but don’t buy anything until you do research on it). I’d go ask what they recommend and then look them up online or ask what people think on yahoo answers. lol. Good luck! oh also i use the website.. it helps you count how much protein and calories.

The two best non-diet, diet plans I have used and swear by are the Abs Diet written by the editor of Men’s Health magazine. A good, humerous read, easy to follow and is a way of life that will work well with your workout routine. The second book I have read as well as the cookbook is The Eat- Clean Diet Book, written by the editor of Oxygen Magazine. Again it is life style, not a restrictive diet. They are excellent guidelines and I have had great results with both plans.
