Do liquid diets that are medically supervised actually work?

I’m going to an information session on a liquid diet program that is offered through a local hospital, and was wondering if anyone on here has done it or knows someone that has? And if so, how did it work for you? It’s called Nutrimed, if that helps
thanks!

well, you definitely lose weight, however, it has been my experience that within a year or two, the people who have participated have gained all their weight and then some back.
mostly because the program doesn’t alter their food life styles, they don’t learn how to control the diet and don’t stick to any moderate diet they may have been told about. It is also rather hard on the body, which is why it has to be medically supervised.
