Hi! I’m 23 years old and am trying to lose some weight. I am doing some moderate excercising, as moderate is all I have time for, and am watching what I eat. What is a good diet supplement, pills or for shakes, that is safe to take and works most effectively w/out side effects?

Watch your diet and keep on with your exercises. You didn’t put in on over night and it won’t come off that way either. If you do it gradually and make new (good) eating habits it will stay off and you will be much happier in the long run.

First, ask your doctor or pharmacist before using ANY herbal supplements! There have been deaths associated with some of them. Since they’re herbal supplements, the FDA doesn’t have any authority over them! … calcium would only be necessary for women approaching menopause, and you’re far from that! … You’d do best to just eat lots of fruit veggies, and cut down on your carbs sugar. Tofu will lower your blood sugar too, and helps to counteract the carbs. Some people think that grapefruit juice will help you lose weight too, if you have it before meals (and it can’t hurt you to try that)
